Sawdust Spawn Log Inoculation Trio of Tools

Our trio of tools is perfect for any log project that uses sawdust spawn. The trio comes with a standard angle grinder adapter, a 12mm drill bit, and a thumb-press log inoculation tool with ribbed anti-slip handle. (Watch the video below for details on how to use each product!)

*Note: This drill bit will not work with plug spawn. You can find our 8.5mm drill bit for plug spawn here.

Caring for your inoculation tool:

Sawdust spawn residue can build up in your tool, making it feel sticky or causing the plunger to freeze. If this happens, soak in hot soapy water for 30 minutes, then push down on the head of the tool to loosen any debris.

Periodically check the head of the tool to make sure it is not coming unscrewed. The tool can be tightened by using a large flat head screwdriver. Insert the screwdriver into the groove on the tip, hold onto the head and lightly twist the screwdriver until tight.
