This asbestos-free, odorless, horticulture-grade vermiculite provides superior moisture and nutrient retention when used as a substrate additive. It also allows for greater aeration, an essential component for larger flushes and faster colonization.

• A3 medium coarseness is ideal for mushroom cultivation, as it has greater water retention capacity and can be used for external casings.
• Ideal for use in cake-style, manure-based, and straw-based mushroom cultivation methods.
• A thin layer can be added to the base of a fruiting chamber to increase ambient humidity.
