OTHER: The Dawn Redwood is a conifer that is native to Manchuria China and is one of only 3 types of redwood trees. These old trees are also found as fossils in areas like the badlands of N Dakota. This tree species was thought to be extinct until its rediscovery in 1944, and is currently listed as a threatened species of the highest level - critically endangered. These trees are very hardy tolerating temperatures as low as -30 F up to 100 F. These redwoods grow quickly with a growth rate of 3-5 feet a year. While they prefer full sun, they will also tolerate partial shade. These trees have lovely fern-like foliage and their trunks can exceed 8 feet in diameter. They also produce pinecones and make an excellent bonsai specimen.

We also have native Giant Sequoia (aka Sierra Redwood) Tree seeds available!
