OTHER: American Purple Top is an heirloom rutabaga with 4 - 6" globe shaped fruit. The exterior skin is purple on the top & yellow on the bottom. They can be enjoyed raw or cooked. The interior flesh is yellow when it is raw, but it turns orange when its cooked. Both colors are lovely! You can enjoy American Purple Top Rutabagas have a sweet & mild flavor. Add them to stews or try them mashed! Rutabagas like cool weather that enhances their flavor, so that’s the best time to harvest them. They also store well & will keep for 4 – 6 months. The huge tender greens have a taste similar to spinach & can also be used in salads.
